Job Description

FIS Management Services, LLC seeks Business Systems Analysts II in Jacksonville, FL to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate business and user requirements for processes, policies, and information systems. Translate business needs and end-user requirements into functional specifications that describe what the system, process or product or service must do to fulfill the end-user or business requirements. Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding combined with an understanding of applicable business systems and industry requirements. Devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operation time and form of desired results including business and user needs analyses, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications. Influence business partners and service providers regarding priorities, hardware and software selection and vendor selection. Analyze marketplace, industry, company, technology trends and best practices, as well as vendor products and services. Identify and document business strategies, objectives, and drivers. Analyze and document business processes and metrics and identify improvement opportunities. Calculate and estimate costs and benefits of alternative actions and solutions to establish their viability and ROI. Re-engineer processes to deliver greater effectiveness and efficiency. Identify and document how applications and systems interact to support business processes. Assess, apply, and project the impact of system changes on users and internal and external clients and stakeholders. Use systems knowledge and industry requirements to develop and modify complex information systems. Write test plans and test cases to ensure changes that are made to the application meet client needs and that application integrity is

maintained. Conduct a variety of tests such as system, integration, readiness and acceptance tests and she will ensure changes made by programmers are correct. Conduct tests using client data to be certain client needs will be met. Verify through testing that changes made by programmers to one part of the application do not impact other parts. Train internal employees and external clients on changes, new systems, or new procedures. Conduct both one-on-one and classroom training depending upon the size or desire of the audience. Mentor, guide, advise and check the work of less experienced business systems analysts. Consider business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation: utilizing Agile Software development methodology to manage a product backlog including grooming, sprint planning, and release planning; engaging with clients (end-users) and internal stakeholders to gather business requirements and write epics and user stories for development; working with Agile management tools, including Aha, Jira and Azure Dev Ops; working with data modeling and relational database management systems; and administering and developing data visualizations with business intelligence tools including Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
