Senior Manager FP&A, Cloud Infrastructure

Reporting to the Director of Expense FP&A, you will be a trusted partner to senior finance and business leaders across a growing organization. This highly visible role will collaborate closely with the Cloud FinOps and Engineering teams to ensure data-driven decisions are leading to optimized Cloud cost outcomes. You will help apply rigor to ensure transparency and accountability through financial reporting and modeling of all Cloud activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the annual budget process for all Cloud hosting costs, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Embed yourself within the Cloud FinOps team, establishing trust through an understanding of their function and contributing to their success
  • Be a thought leader to business executives, pushing data-driven insights that support decision making
  • Leverage performance data, market trends, and business dynamics to operate and maintain detailed financial projections for all cloud environments such as Google Cloud, AWS, and Snowflake
  • Create accurate, meaningful, and timely financial reporting packages
  • Establish key KPI’s that are used by the business to evaluate cost performance
  • Provide data driven decision support to selecting reserved instance commitments
  • Support procurement and Cloud FinOps relationships and key negotiations with Cloud vendors
  • Lead deep dive reviews and benchmarking with relevant senior leadership
  • Work closely with our business technology team to implement system and tool upgrades to improve monitoring, managing, and forecasting of Cloud costs
  • Manage team of 2 analysts, one US-based and one international

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience supporting Cloud & Infrastructure operations required
  • Strong understanding of cloud services business models, pricing strategies, and market trends
  • Proven and progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across various business functions and levels of leadership
  • FP&A business partnering experience in a growing, fast-paced business
  • Ability to tackle important business issues in a quickly changing, sometimes unstructured environment
  • Proven experience developing and growing employees
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker, Microsoft BI, etc)

Bonus Points:

  • Experience at a SaaS based business
  • Experience with cloud-based forecasting tools (Anaplan, Adaptive, etc)

The approximate annual base compensation range is $182,000 to $214,000. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, geography, as well as internal equity among our team.
