This position resides on the Analytics Community Engagement team within Enterprise Analytics & Business Intelligence Services. We are building a world-class analytics community that bridges business lines and functions to shape a culture of analytic excellence, leverages the combined strength of our members, and acts as an incubator for new innovations. One of the team’s key priorities centers on analytics community leadership: To promote, develop, and engage a cohesive analytic community across the company.

The successful candidate will focus on several initiatives involving the analytic community, such as liaison with HR partners on the Analytics & Data University Program, lead the community's efforts for Academic Partnerships, and/or help uncover pathways for analysts to develop their careers at Wells Fargo. Additionally, you may be lead backup on various initiatives such as our Analytics Community of Practice and analytic challenges. You will be on a team that manages a broad range of initiatives with a wide variety of inputs and audiences. The ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including analytic & technology leaders, is strongly desired.

The Business Execution Consultant will be part of the Analytics Community Engagement team within Enterprise Analytics & Data Science. One of the team’s key priorities centers on analytics community leadership: To promote, develop and engage a cohesive analytic community across the company.

The Business Execution Consultant will focus on several initiatives involving the analytic community, such as implementing a pre-set strategy for external engagements. The ability to develop and maintain relationships with a diverse set of stakeholders, including analytic & technology leaders, is strongly desired. You should be comfortable developing and implementing strategic perspectives, fostering innovative solutions, and communicating powerfully & prolifically--including ability to influence stakeholders at all levels to consider new perspectives and ways of doing things.

In this role, you will:

  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives.
  • Ensure documentation and process adherence of programs to comply with the risk and compliance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics.
  • Determine areas of strength or business execution opportunity within defined scope of work.
  • Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations.
  • Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables.
  • Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business.
  • Develop metrics and track/evaluate performance of programs, services and initiatives.
  • Draft compelling communications to build momentum for various programs and initiatives conducted by the team.
  • Bring ideas to incrementally improve systems and processes, as well as refresh the format of existing programs.
  • Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business.
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management.

Essential Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: project management, communication, implementation, and strategic planning (default)
  • Ability to manage internal communications planning as per brand standards
  • Solid creative and strategic thinking skills
  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure in a dynamic and complex environment
  • Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint) skills
  • High level of ownership and ability to ramp up on requirements quickly
  • Resourceful and energetic, with a will to get the job done effectively
  • Success in creating presentations based on team input to senior leaders
  • Initiative to follow up on action items/outstanding items that come up daily and report back to management with solution, outcome, or escalation
  • Solid presentation skills that span formats (e.g., in person, teleconference call, video conference)
  • Facilitation skills, including ability to facilitate decision-making and broker agreements amongst diverse, differing, and/or conflicting perspectives/priorities

Desired Qualifications

  • 1+ year of visual design experience
  • Experience in analytics domain
