CONTRACT POSITION OVERVIEW 

We are hiring for a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant to join the Global Atlantic team. This is a hybrid position that would have you working in our offices at Hudson Yards 3-4 days per week. 

This is a contract role focused on supporting recruitment strategy across our investments, capital markets, reinsurance and strategic acquisitions functions. 

The Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant will source and attract high caliber candidates with the right combination of financial services acumen, functional excellence, motivation and fit, to address the current and future business growth of Global Atlantic. 

Managing the talent acquisition process from job development and posting through offer acceptance and onboarding, this role will need to manage business relationships and ensure a positive candidate experience.

Key responsibilities:

  • Full life-cycle recruitment: interview and screen internal and external job candidates to fill existing and future job openings.
  • Deploy effective sourcing strategies and resources such as internal and external talent pools, networking, social media, job postings, employee referrals, use of external agencies, background and reference check processes.
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand business objectives and how the open role supports those objectives and align recruitment efforts to support key competencies and skills needed. Manage hiring manager process expectations.
  • Assist managers in developing compelling offers within our compensation philosophy and position budgets.
  • Ensure positive candidate experiences. Assist with initiatives to build a powerful employment brand to help maximize recruiting efforts. As appropriate, assist with travel / interview arrangements and scheduling.
  • Measure overall recruiting effectiveness through effective use of existing systems and tools, metrics, reporting and key performance indicators.
  • Support development and delivery of training, resources and tools that provide our hiring managers what they need to make optimal hiring decisions.
  • Support the implementation of broader talent management practices such as succession planning, internal talent mobility, retention and engagement.
  • Partner and align with other TA and HR staff, including HR Business Partners and Compensation.
  • Ensure adherence with all equal employment opportunity (EEO) legislation, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and other federal and state compliance requirements
  • Support effective onboarding practices.
  • Leads and/or participates in special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience recruiting in the capital markets, investment banking, asset management or private equity sectors with direct candidate sourcing experience required
  • Experience working in a recruiting agency environment a plus
  • Quickly establishes business credibility at all levels in the organization.
  • Pragmatic results orientation – takes initiative to make things happen. Not satisfied with status quo.
  • Prior experience developing talent acquisition strategies for multiple functions and at all organization levels strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to quickly learn and recruit across new disciplines, functions, and regions
  • Demonstrated partnership with business leaders, hiring managers and Human Resources
  • Experience in the insurance sector a plus.
  • Knowledge of how to maximize capabilities of an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) (Greenhouse is a plus)
  • Strong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects. Can function well in organization where formal process development is occurring
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong networker externally and internally.

  • Confidence in stating opinion and asking questions regardless of level.

Various jurisdictions have passed pay transparency laws that require companies provide salary ranges for any positions for which they are accepting applications. Global Atlantic has offices in Atlanta, Batesville, Bermuda, Boston, Des Moines, Hartford, Indianapolis, and New York City. The base salary range posted below is inclusive of the lowest cost of living geography to the highest in which we have a Global Atlantic office. 

Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through an analysis of similar positions in the external labor market. Base pay is just one component of Global Atlantic’s total compensation package for employees and at times we hire outside the boundaries of the salary range. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

The base salary range for this role is:

$70/hour - $90/hour
