Senior Director Product Management

Expedia Group is seeking a Senior Director of Product Management to lead our Checkout team and shape the future of travel with Expedia Group! The Checkout team in Traveler Products is at the forefront of developing the user experience and underlying technology that powers the most critical step in the shopping journey for Expedia’s portfolio of brands and B2B partners. By leveraging Expedia’s rich data, the team personalizes the experience, enhances performance, and deepens relationships with travelers.

What you will do:

  • Build and Lead Product Team: Promote a “one-team” mentality that solves customer problems irrespective of organizational boundaries. Model and encourage others to handle differing perspectives openly and productively. Build systems to grow talent and develop successors. Generate a talent pipeline from both internal and external pools.
  • Develop Product Vision: Lead a team of product professionals to build and continuously refine the checkout product vision, stay ahead of emerging trends and competitors, and champion innovation by encouraging others to openly share and build on ideas, products, and solutions.
  • Evangelize Vision and Impact: Continuously communicate the strategic vision for a portfolio of checkout products and the value they create for customers and Expedia Group. Lead executive-level (incl. C-level) presentations while driving a customer & product-led approach. Enable high-quality, enterprise-level decisions by sharing knowledge and serving as a sought-after senior consultant.
  • Lead Roadmap & Execution: Establish a data-driven framework for evaluating and prioritizing opportunities, secure alignment across internal and external partners. Establish requirements throughout the customer journey and partner with UX design to develop compelling experiences. Work closely with engineering teams to drive an agile development process to ensure high-quality, timely delivery
  • Optimize Performance: Define success metrics for product reach, how well we serve customers, and the financial returns for shareholders. Partner with engineering to instrument our systems and measure performance. Continuously improve outcomes for travelers and partners

The total cash range for this position in Seattle is $296,000.00 to $414,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $473,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
