Product Manager (f/m/d) – Gas Analyzers

Working as a Product Manager, you will be a key member of the Product Management Team in the Product Line Continuous Gas Analyzers which belongs to the Business Line Analytical, defining requirements due to market analysis, manage the existing portfolio, including marketing communication, training and sales initiatives. In this role, you will oversee all steps in the life cycle of products, systems or services, including development, launch, maintenance, pricing and profitability of Continuous Gas Analyzers and Continuous Gas Analyzer Systems manufactured in Frankfurt

This position reports to

Teamlead Product Management

Your responsibilities

  • Leading market intelligence analysis
  • Understanding and defining current market segmentation and related product positioning
  • Owning the technical and market specification for the product and determining a product business plan that supports sustainable growth
  • Leading life cycle management process, analyzing current product, defining and tracking performance metrics, planning appropriate measures
  • Acting as interface between external market and internal functions (e.g. Sales, Operations and Research & Development)
  • Defining new product plans, setting technical, price, cost and capital expenditure targets. Contributing to development of new portfolios by leading customer need and value analysis, planning the roadmap to create maximum value
  • Initiating and driving product market communication strategy, including product launch planning and implementation

Your background

  • Min. 2 years of experience in product management or in analytical business
  • Sound knowledge of different gas analyzer technologies (e.g. UV-/IR Photometer, FID, Paramagnetic, etc.) preferable
  • Demonstrated experience of marketing analysis and related product strategy
  • A collaborative, solution-focused approach, with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Good language skills in English and German (spoken and written)
