OVERVIEW:

Partners with Manager, Sr. Designers, Copywriters and Graphic Designers in the creation and production of advertising campaign materials including email, digital content and advertising, paid and organic social and occasional print work including direct mail and signage. Work closely with Dick’s internal Marketing department. Take corporate identity elements and incorporate them across all materials for a consistent brand experience. Collaborate with internal creative team to concept and develop marketing campaigns and style guides. Must have a strong eye for design and be proficient in production techniques. Must be able to prioritize and handle work in a fast paced environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Production of design for a range of marketing materials. Develop appropriate design solutions within our campaign thematic and brand guidelines for the primary purpose of effectively selling merchandise, services or related brand messages. Ensure that each assigned project meets all production specifications prior to releasing to proof and is delivered on time.
  • In partnership with other creative team members, concept and develop new integrated marketing campaigns. Focus on thematic brand approach, visual and voice standards, activation ideas and tactical promotion to fully realize breakthrough creative that supports the brand vision, drives engagement and stands out from the clutter. Assist in the creation of the final style guides to be shared with internal and external partners.
  • Responsible for producing accurate and complete work including versioning for various review sessions. Execute proof corrections within the time frame dictated by the schedule. Prep and release files.
  • Develop shot plans for photo/video shoots in conjunction with the Creative Manager and other team partners. Partner and have excellent communication with Managing Producer, Photo Coordinators, Photo Studio Specialist and Digital Asset Coordinator. Responsible for the selection and editing of photographic assets, following agreed upon design direction.
  • Must be a student of their craft and strive to stay up-to-date on the latest production techniques and creative designs being used in the retail industry and in digital channels. In addition, research sport subject matter to ensure visual and voice authenticity in creative. 

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Art/Graphic Design, Business, Marketing or Communications
  • 1-3 years of experience
  • Experience using Adobe Create Suite- InDesign, Bridge, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Must have portfolio for review
  • Coding experience is a plus

Targeted Pay Range: $47,300 - $78,900. This is part of a competitive total rewards package that could include other components such as: incentive, equity and benefits. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors including experience, location, internal pay equity, and other relevant business considerations.
