Sirva is now seeking Accounts Payable Analyst to support our international clientele based out of Bengaluru.

This role requires flexibility to shift times and offers a hybrid working model with work from home available.

Role Overview

As a Accounts Payable Analyst, you will contribute to SIRVA’ success by processing supplier invoices and internal Payment Request forms, as well as auditing of employee expense claims. You will issue disbursements on time, via various payment methods, including EFT/ACH, wire transfer and paper check. The Accounts Payable Analyst will be required to execute process improvement initiatives and test system enhancements impacting the Accounts Payable function as necessary. The Accounts Payable Analyst will work closely with the AP Team to ensure process changes are rolled out effectively and timely. The Accounts Payable Analyst will act as the first point of contact for inquiries and escalations regarding day-to-day issues, questions and concerns for both overhead and flow through transactions.

What You’ll Be Doing 

  • Subject matter expert regarding Microsoft Dynamics 365 Accounts Payable module functionality and SIRVA payables processes
  • Participates in process improvement and system enhancement/implementation team meetings and discussions; ensures the focus is on optimizing day to day payables processing
  • Performs user acceptance testing (UAT) for system modifications and implementations impacting Accounts Payable operations
  • Ensures successful execution of process changes and improvements
  • Provides training and guidance to Accounts Payable team members on new processes and/or systems
  • Continuous monitoring during and after project completion to ensure compliance with changes
  • Assists with transition planning for newly acquired divisions and divestitures
  • Meets regularly with Manager, Disbursements to review project challenges/concerns, provide status updates, discuss process improvement recommendations, etc.
  • Coordinates the documentation of new/updating of existing Accounts Payable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) to ensure they accurately reflect current processes and procedures
  • Ad hoc duties as required

What You Bring to SIRVA

  • Minimum 2 years Accounts Payable work experience
  • Accounting/finance experience and/or courses an asset
  • Working knowledge of French preferred but not essential
  • Able to breakdown issues and problems into manageable components and escalate in a timely manner
  • Understand and document process flows in a high volume environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Outgoing, customer friendly personality
  • Caring attitude toward external and internal customers
  • Proficiency in D365, MS Excel, Word, Outlook and on-line banking platforms
