Nearpod is actively seeking innovative, passionate sales professionals to strengthen our team to deliver our widely-adopted K-12 instructional, assessment, and content platform to U.S. charter school customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background working with various charter schools, charter school organizations and will have a keen understanding of their funding sources and procurement processes.
In addition, the CSSS must possess the necessary skills to design, price and scope projects, and be equally adept at demonstrating how their recommendations will help schools' attain their strategic vision. Qualified individuals will work in a fast-paced environment that requires exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
The role will be based out of our Aventura, FL office; however, will require some local travel to client sites nationwide.

Role and Responsibilities:
Responsible for driving revenue growth in the U.S. K-12 charter school system
Provide live demonstrations to prospects via web conferencing
Manage sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close
Overcome customer objections by demonstrating negotiation skills and ability to sell benefits not features
Maintain a strong level of knowledge about our products and services
Maintain a strong understanding of assigned territory, education vertical and competitive offerings
Attend trade shows and in-market events.
Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
50% travel requirement
Proficient use of Salesforce.com
Preferred Skills and Experience:
Successful sales experience to charter schools in Education Technology or background in Education
SaaS sales experience
3+ years of sales experience
Excellent phone, written and verbal skills
Excellent business development skills
