As a Delivery Lead Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of specialists from Wealth and guiding them in delivering our most challenging projects.

As a Manager, you will have responsibility to:

• Provide wealth platform technology expertise and collaborate with clients to establish their tech strategy, future state-of-the-art systems and implementation roadmaps & plans impacting one or many areas of the wealth business
• Oversee and manage relationships with multiple vendor partners, ensuring effective collaboration, communication, and alignment of goals and objectives. This includes coordinating vendor selection processes, negotiating contracts, and monitoring vendor performance to ensure delivery of high-quality products and services.
• Run technology-enabled wealth platform transformation programmes and projects with delivery leadership and expertise.
• Help establish principles and frameworks for wealth platforms, developing and implementing solutions for clients.
• Support clients throughout the whole project lifecycle activities across discovery, data analysis, solution design and build, end-to-end testing, integrations and change and go-live
• Liaise between business and technology teams to ensure that the delivered solution design is in line with business-driven objectives
• Work within diverse teams to deliver measurable business outcomes to quality and timescales
• Build effective client relationships with peer-level stakeholders across all business and technical domains including IT, Operations and Risk
• Contribute to business development work, bringing entrepreneurial mindset, leading the development of our key propositions to market through pre-sales, bid preparation and client presentations
• Strengthen our technical delivery capabilities through coaching and mentoring junior team members to help them grow to their full potential
• Lead the definition and implementation of accelerators and standards and promoting adherence to these standards within internal and external programmes and projects
• Participate fully within Deloitte to assist the growth of the wealth practice and the Industry Solutions division including supporting the firm’s commitment to creating a more diverse and inclusive culture

Connect to your skills and professional experience

Essentials:

• Proven high performance & wealth platform delivery experience gained within a top-tier wealth management or consulting firm in leading technology delivery projects
• Strong consulting experience, preferably in the wealth platform domain
• Experience in successfully managing vendor relationships and delivering results in a multi-vendor environment. Experience in coordinating and overseeing vendor selection processes, contract negotiations, and vendor performance evaluations. Strong understanding of vendor management best practices and the ability to navigate complex vendor landscapes.
• Been a key part of wealth platform transformation projects and demonstrated ability to manage and supervise in a team of technology advisors through all phases of the technology life cycle, including requirements definition, architecture, design, development, implementation, migration, and testing
• Ensured delivery standards are followed and deviations from any defined standards are properly addressed and communicated.
• Led and ensured that solution options are well communicated and approved by Business & technical stake holders
• Experience in delivering through various ways of working, including waterfall and agile methodologies
• Conversant with Wealth ‘Cloud’ technology ecosystems and hyper-scalers
• Familiarity with modern software delivery tooling
• Appreciation of emerging technology and trends in wealth management
• Experience in leading and mentoring junior staff within a wider complex digital transformation programme
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirables:

• Industry certifications such as BCS, Prince 2, Agile, PMP among others
• Cloud Practitioner certifications with the major providers
