Advertising Week is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our creative team. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative and visually compelling designs that elevate our brand and support our marketing initiatives.

Location preference given to those in commutable distance to our NYC office but remote will be considered. 

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and design print and digital assets including advertisements, event collateral, social media graphics, website elements, sales decks, reports and more
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand project objectives, target audience and messaging requirements
  • Translate creative briefs into visually engaging and effective designs that align with Advertising Week's brand identity and standards
  • Lead the design process from ideation to execution, ensuring high-quality deliverables within established timelines
  • Stay updated on design trends, emerging technologies and industry best practices to continuously enhance design strategies and techniques
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines
  • Uphold brand consistency across all design materials and ensure adherence to brand guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication or related field
  • 3-5 years working as a graphic designer in-house at an events company or B2B company or similar fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant design software, including Ceros
  • Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles and design fundamentals
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and rationale effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a cross-functional team
  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects and styles, with an emphasis on creativity and innovation
  • Experience with motion graphics and video editing is a plus.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Target Compensation: $65,000-$70,000

Please note that this range reflects a reasonable estimate of the target compensation for this position. This range may ultimately vary based on a candidate’s qualifications and may be higher where required by applicable law.
