Manager, Medicaid Customer Development and Marketing

for the Medicaid Health Plan service line

The position offers remote – work from home in these states only:

Alabama, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Virginia,, West Virginia

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of experience in Strategic Marketing and Strategic Planning:

Leading a strategic marketing organization, campaigns, and vendor management.

  • Proven leadership skills in the management of professional-level staff.
  • Demonstrated experience in brand management, strategic marketing planning, marketing analysis, digital marketing, strategic communications, financial analysis, budget planning and management.
  • Knowledge of healthcare delivery is desired.
  • Medicaid Health Plan and Managed Care experience preferred.
  • Experience with Tableau and Microsoft products preferred.

Required Education:

Bachelors in Business and/or Marketing. Master's degree preferred.

  • Responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and management of the Sentara brand.
  • Leads teams responsible for developing, managing, and implementing customer acquisition and retention marketing strategies that generate new revenue and enhance existing revenue streams in alignment with the company's strategic plan.
  • Leads teams that introduce new transformational products to the market by connecting new initiatives with target market segments.
  • Serves in a communications role to support company-wide strategic initiatives as well as initiatives impacting a specific region, division, or segment of the company.
  • Oversees campaign forecasting and media mix, lead generation and customer acquisition, customer fulfillment and retention, and tracks campaign performance.
  • Supports the CRM strategy and roadmap.
  • Utilizes various technologies and tools to execute the CRM strategy for segmentation and predictive modeling, prospecting, lead generation, customer acquisition, and customer development.
  • Demonstrates experience in financial analysis, data analytics, developing budgets, resource allocation, ROI, and financial impact studies.

Knowledge of health care delivery is desired.
