Description:Responsible for the installation, deployment, integration, testing and documenting maintenance of the wireless broadband transport systems, towers, and land mobile radio systems for the Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center - Instrumentation System (JPMRC-IS) in support of the Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP). Will perform advanced troubleshooting and system optimization, RF testing on VHF, UHF, Microwave, SINCGARS, LMR and conventional simulcast systems utilizing C-E test equipment.

Collaborate with the engineering team to provide technical support and insights for system setup and modifications. Conduct field investigations to support engineering analyses and assist with troubleshooting complex technical issues related to both wireless and power distribution systems.

Assists with power distribution infrastructure in the field environment. Will coordinate shore power and generator power sources, ensuring seamless operation and managing backup power supplies to guarantee uninterrupted power supply during critical operations.

Maintain comprehensive documentation of all activities, including technical, field, and maintenance reports for wireless and power distribution systems. Generate regular reports to provide insights into system performance, power usage patterns, and incident responses.

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a SECRET security clearance

Must be able to gain access to Military Installations

Proficiency with installation, deployment, and maintenance of wireless broadband transport systems and towers

Experience with RF testing across various frequencies, including VHF, UHF, and Microwave

Experience with Communications – Electronics test equipment

Strong understanding of power distribution management in field environments

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Desired Skills:

Experience with RF testing of Land Mobile Radio and SINCGARS

High drive for excellence in all aspects of their work

Comfortable working independently and within a team environment

Willingness to work up to 12 hours per shift during rotations

Willingness to work occasionally outside of normal business hours if needed

Knowledge of power distribution protocols and standards

Experience with advanced power distribution technologies and equipment

Certification or training in electrical systems or power distribution management

Commitment to ensuring the reliability and availability of power systems in challenging environments
