ASAPP is in need of a talented Sales Development Team Lead responsible for hiring, developing, and managing our inside sales team. This individual should possess deep domain knowledge of inside sales disciplines (lead generation, business development, etc), and should have experience leading a team of SDR’s for a SaaS company that sells to enterprises.

What you'll do

  • Hire, train, and manage our inside sales team to support ASAPP’s business objectives 
  • Deploy market relevant tools, processes and standards to enable inside sales representatives
  • Steer development of sales pipelines to ensure continuous generation of near and long term opportunities; working with team to manage the size, shape and quality of pipeline; analyze overall win rates and win/loss ratios
  • Provide strong, visible leadership presence to inspire the inside sales organization globally; regularly communicate sales, organization and technology strategies and how inside sales can make a tangible impact 
  • Ensure connectivity with organizations across ASAPP, especially with sales/account executives, sales operations, solutions, and product marketing teams
  • Continuously monitor and drive operational improvements across the inside sales team
  • Define metrics and roles for inside sales team

What you'll need

  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience managing a high-performing inside sales team that sell to enterprise customers 
  • Experience managing a team that consistently surpasses its quotas
  • Intimate understanding of business development, lead/pipeline generation, and forecasting
  • Proven experience and ability to create a highly motivated performance-driven sales culture 
  • Proven track record leading teams with a mix of cold calling, email, and social selling to drive qualified meetings
  • Knowledge and experience with SFDC, sales engagement tools, B2B data providers, and intent tools, and the ability to build process and operations to optimize team
  • Strength in driving organizational alignment and collaboration
  • Ability to diagnose sales, recommend viable solutions, and drive results-oriented action

What we'd like to see

  • Experience managing an inside sales team selling a SaaS product into the enterprise contact center or AI space
