About the Role

As a Lead UXUI Designer in the fintech industry, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for digital financial products and services. Your primary focus will be on understanding user needs, designing user interfaces, and ensuring a seamless interaction between users and the fintech platform. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to translate business requirements into visually appealing and user-friendly designs. Your role will play a crucial part in shaping the overall user experience and driving customer satisfaction in the fintech domain.

Responsibilities:

  1. User Research and Analysis:
  2. Conduct user research to understand user behaviors, needs, and pain points.
  3. Analyze user feedback and data to identify areas for improvement.
  4. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define user personas and user stories.
  5. User Experience Design:
  6. Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to visualize and communicate design concepts.
  7. Design user interfaces that enhance usability and provide an intuitive experience.
  8. Collaborate with development teams to ensure the feasibility and implementation of designs.
  9. User Interface Design:
  10. Develop visually appealing and consistent interface designs aligned with brand guidelines.
  11. Create interactive mockups and high-fidelity prototypes to demonstrate design concepts.
  12. Optimize designs for different devices and screen sizes, considering responsive design principles.
  13. Usability Testing and Iteration:
  14. Conduct usability testing sessions to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.
  15. Incorporate user feedback and testing results into design iterations.
  16. Continuously iterate and refine designs based on user-centered design principles.
  17. Collaboration and Communication:
  18. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align project requirements and goals.
  19. Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and gather feedback.
  20. Work closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
  21. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong portfolio showcasing a range of work - profiles/resumes without a portfolio will not be considered.
  • Proven experience as a Lead UX/UI Designer, preferably in the fintech industry.
  • Extensive experience in mobile application design.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Figma or similar.
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
  • Experience with user research methods, including user interviews and usability testing.
  • Knowledge of responsive design principles and designing for multiple devices.
  • Strong visual design skills with an eye for detail and consistency.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
  • Familiarity with financial products and services is a plus.

Compensation

The salary range for this position is $110k - 150k+ (depending on experience and level assessed post interviews).
