ISPL FSS is set up as a Shared Service Centre and works on an Extended Plus model, within a defined governance structure. It is a Global hub and delivers services to CIB/BOW Finance teams across the geographies. It is organized by 7 work streams and provides services across 29 countries

Position Purpose

The position is to support the Finance and Tax Operational Permanent Control (OPC) team in NAR and LATAM. The Finance and Tax OPC builds the operational risk management and permanent control framework on a risk-based approach for non-financial and transversal risks (including Communication, Social Responsibility, Business Continuity, Compliance, Legal, and Data Protection areas) in collaboration with independent control functions, and in compliance with internal policies, procedures and guidelines issued by such independent control functions, and with external regulatory and supervisory requirements.

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities

  • Extract, process the data from the internal tools in use and prepare the information for prospective various internal and external Committees and meetings.
  • Submit necessary requests for data provision to various contributors, ensure that the received information is accurate and consistent.
  • Prepare ad hoc visualizations and reports for the internal and external Committees and meetings.
  • Provide processed and relevant operational information to the team members, Line manager, Head of Finance and Tax OPC, various 2LoD (second line of defense) teams.
  • Perform analysis of data flow across the internal tools in use, document detected discrepancies and report them to the Line manager and the Head of Finance and Tax OPC.
  • Identify key data and raise awareness of any data flow breach to the Line Manager and the Head of Finance and Tax OPC.
  • Ensure that the quality of data is compliant with applicable methodologies and rules imposed by internal and external policies, procedures, and guidelines.

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the implementation of the risk management policies and procedures within Finance and Tax OPC remit.
  • Contribute to the development and management of the operational measures that aim at increasing the effectiveness of the existing processes within various Finance and Tax sub teams in NAR and LATAM.
  • Conduct additional duties and tasks assigned by Line manager.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • University degree preferably in Finance, Accounting, Banking or in Economics, Mathematics.
  • At least 2 years of experience in financial, accounting, banking, or risk-management fields.
  • Knowledge of the fundamental principles of the banking activity, banking products, financial operations and risk concepts.
  • Interpersonal skills, communication skills and ability to negotiate.
  • Ability to analyze unstructured data of various nature.
  • Ability to form and articulate an informed position through structured thinking, problem solving and prioritization.
  • MS Office, Power BI, Power Query, Alteryx, Tableau.
