Job Purpose

This role is a key hire for the HR team in Europe with strategic and operational responsibility for leading the largest market in Southern Europe.

  • Lead all HR activities for France by providing valuable HR contribution through efficient Talent management, capabilities building, Engagement, effective ER management and guidance through the whole lifecycle of an employee
  • Manage payroll for the country
  • Represent the company in the Works Council/Employee representative meetings, implement agreed actions and projects. 
  • Manage specific HR projects from A to Z, liaising with Key business stakeholders, such as Diversity & Engagement, Wellness, Engagement… 

Critical Results 

  • Work with HRBP to implement relevant HR strategies and programs to improve organizational performance, engagement and efficiency
  • Ensure compliance of all legal aspects for HR practice (GDPR, change in legislation…)
  • Manage payroll and ensure that all employees are paid on time and accurately
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and harmonize HR processes, work closely with COE and HR team to drive improvements, make recommendations and follow-up through full implementation
  • Manage delegated projects while exhibiting business acumen and strong communication and influencing skills. 
  • Lead Diversity & Inclusion initiatives and implement action plans, in line with our company strategy and values
  • Act as a link between managers and employees by helping to solve work-related issues through coaching, mentoring, support in performance management, developing the employees. Liaise with Works Council when required
  • Ensure local policies and procedures are up-to-date and in line with local legislations.
  • Manage escalated ER activities and complex cases including investigations, grievances, dismissals and corrective actions. Provide advices and guidance to leaders and head of departments in Iberia. 
  • Design, propose and implement an Employee Wellbeing plan on a yearly basis, liaise with all relevant stakeholders to make sure it answers employees’ needs (H&S, FMT…)
  • Co-facilitate Engagement discussions with Leaders and provide support for Action Planning
  • Deliver trainings and workshops on an ad-hoc basis (Workday, objectives settings, objectives alignment,)
  • Manage effectively a diverse and engaged HR team, focusing on talent development, building capabilities and operational excellence
