JOB TITLE: Supply Network Planner

FUNCTION: Supply Network Operations (SNO)

CITY & COUNTRY: Lahore, Pakistan

ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

  • Execute activities to support the delivery of Cash, Cost, Service, and SNO KPIs for the assigned Area
  • As SNO SPOC working with factory/specific end market to help achieve Area, DRBU & Region’s targets
  • Actively adopt and implement digital transformation initiatives (Integrated Planning Transformation, Hive, Clear Metal, PBI, and other online tools) for the assigned factory/end market
  • Continuously upskill the technical capabilities and commercial understanding
  • Continuously seek and explore process simplification within Area & DRBU

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

  • Responsible for executing the firm orders within lead-time for suppliers whilst maintaining target inventory levels and optimal supplier price.
  • Responsible for monitoring, actioning, and resolving suppliers’ exceptions.
  • Responsible for aligning purchase orders in the firm zone.
  • Responsible for collaborating with suppliers on purchase orders within lead-time.
  • Responsible for monitoring and actioning inventory at risk of obsolescence.
  • Responsible to implement the phasing in and out of new/old materials as part of a controlled process (achieving agreed deadlines with minimum cost).
  • Responsible for the purchasing, sourcing, and transactional master data.
  • Responsible for sharing forecast with suppliers.
  • Responsible for monitor and act upon constraints within suppliers.
  • Proactively collaborate with supplier to drive long term process improvement.
  • Support resolution of invoicing issues by working with relevant Finance team.
  • Explore opportunities for improved planning efficiency and placing of materials orders.
  • Responsible for resolving any process /system issues to ensure compliance to business controls.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

  • 1-3 years of experience in Planning, Procurement, or NPI (New Product Introduction).
  • A university degree in a relevant field, with a major related to Supply Chain being advantageous.
  • Expertise in material knowledge and procurement can be an additional advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficient in analytics and digital tools.
  • Solid knowledge of Supply Chain and materials purchasing, including processes and metrics.
  • Familiarity with IWS (Integrated Work Systems), CI (Continuous Improvement) tools, and agile concepts.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, such as resilience, making informed decisions in uncertain situations, curiosity to explore new ideas, and a focus on simplifying complex processes.
  • Commitment to high standards and a track record of delivering outstanding results.

BENEFICIAL

  • Having Manufacturing and Commercial experience would be beneficial.
  • Experience with ERP and Planning systems is advantageous.
