Job Description: Senior Specialist Product Manager

A product Manager has a key role in building the vision and strategy for your product, driving execution, owning your product and to grow the business and bring value to your customers, including maintaining high NPS.

Reporting to: Director of Product Management (U.S.)

Location: India, Pune

Main Responsibilities and Deliverables:

  1. Key role in establishing the product vision and strategy and execute it through appropriate prioritized roadmap.
  2. Maintain a deep understanding of the market, the eco-system, the business environment, existing customers and prospects.
  3. Drive for innovation to maximize the impact and competitive edge of your product, including an holistic view of the product as part of the CXOne product suite.
  4. Create and maintain the product roadmap and backlog, derived from the product vision, strategy and go-to-market.
  5. Own the complete product life cycle from concept through execution and roll out including product backlog, customer commitments, bugs and escalations.
  6. Be the “go to” expert for the product – collaborate with other stakeholders across the organization: marketing, pricing, billing, sales and pre-sales, support and professional services, technical writers and other product teams. Demonstrate flexible level of depth while working with those stakeholders, based on their needs.
  7. Collaborate with presales, sales, partners and customers to maintain product knowledge, ensure clear communication end enable ongoing business and satisfaction. Customer communication and partnership is very important to this role, including on going interviews and running the product advisory board.
  8. Lead R&D to deliver on the product backlog with high quality taking time to market into mind.
  9. Work closely with the UX expert to ensure product usability.

Qualifications / Education: 

  • 4+ years of product management experience
  • Knowledge and experience in building enterprise software – advantage
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline, preferably Computer Science or Engineering
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Ability to understand technical solutions
  • Ability to see the big picture and translate it to detailed needs
  • The desire to innovate and be creative to make an impact with your product
  • Experience working in an agile delivery methodology organization
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels, from executive management to individual contributors
  • Excellent English, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work late hours with different time zones (mainly U.S.)
  • Fast learner with the ability to oneself on relevant technologies
  • Ability to remain focused and calm under pressure
  • Ability to work successfully with clients and business partners directly – advantage
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work across boundaries in a matrix organization
