Job Description:

  • The Fire Sprinkler Foreman must be willing to go to Kwajalein Island, Marshall Islands. This position is not a remote opportunity.

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Fire Sprinkler Foreman to join our team!

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Installation, service, and troubleshooting of automatic fire sprinkler systems along with all its related equipment.
  • Be a leader: oversee, direct, and delegate appropriate tasks to fitters and helpers as needed to fulfill project completion deadlines, meet scheduling requirements, and exceed the goals established by the fire sprinkler manager.
  • Update daily installation progress notes on job contract drawings.
  • Communicate any change orders as necessary to the fire sprinkler manager and or project manager to get approval before commencement of change.
  • Thread and groove pipe, cut hanger rods, frequently climb ladders, hang pipe, read blueprints, layout, keep clean work area, and use appropriate equipment for any specific job such as tools, lifts, etc.
  • Present daily toolbox talks to employees.
  • Monitor, identify and respond promptly to malfunctioning of equipment.
  • Keep truck inventory up to date.
  • Read and comply with work orders concerning service, modification, or installation of equipment.
  • Properly complete paperwork
  • Work with a team

  • Must have knowledge of fire sprinkler piping systems which includes fabrication of related piping and the various materials and applicable joining methods.
  • Understand fire protection installation requirements.
  • Ability to properly read fire protection blueprints.
  • Knowledge and ability to manage projects through planning, prioritizing, and applying knowledge, skills, tools, and techniques to project activities to meet project requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively with others.
  • Expertise with normal office software is required, including MS Word, Excel, etc.
  • Highly motivated, flexible, and great attitude on life
  • Demonstrate proper and safe use of tools and related equipment.
  • Must be able to work in small attics and tight spaces.
  • Ability to work and communicate effectively individually as well as in a team environment.

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

  • Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
  • OSHA Safety 30-Hour Certification
  • NICET II & III certification, preferred.
  • 5+ years of minimum experience in the plumbing trade 
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a supervisory roll including, but not limited to, supervising employees, making schedules, and managing daily operations.
  • Valid Driver’s License with good record of driving
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Tool belts and Tools, recommended.
  • Ability to Work remotely: Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands
  • Frequent lifting (up to and including 50 pounds).
  • Frequent bending, twisting, and standing.
  • Exposure to working outdoors in all-weather condition.

Salary Range: 

$25.34 - $44.33
