Job Description

A leadership role that oversees the optimisation and automation of Sales Operations and deployment across the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific (MEAPAC) region, reporting into SVP Sales. Will lead the region in the development and implementation of an automated and efficient framework of sales processes, systems and deployment. Oversees the day to day operations of MEAPAC’s “Customer Concierge Desk”. Coordinates and drives a results orientated sales culture and aligns processes with Global Strategy and internal stakeholders. 

Qualifications

Your role and your responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement systems and processes that automate sales activities and optimize sales deployment across all B2B sales segments.
  • Manage daily deployment and operations of the Customer Concierge Desk consisting of 6 Sales associates across 5 locations in MEAPAC.
  • Provide data driven insights and direction to the sales and commercial leadership teams to optimize top line revenue delivery across all sales segments.
  • Maximize revenue by systematically expanding the customer base through targeted prospecting, utilizing market analysis to identify gaps and opportunities
  • Deep working knowledge of all sales tools and systems and act as key liaison point person for hotel sales training and coaching.
  • Work in collaboration with the Training academy to deliver best in class training content across the entire sales organisation.
  • Train and coach sales teams and monitor use of all available sales levers to deliver profit, top line revenue, loyalty in the most efficient and optimal manner.
  • Work in alignment with the Global Sales Reporting team to implement best practices and align reporting to global standards.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in Sales Operations, B2B sales across Corporate, M&E, Leisure and TMC segments. (10+ years)
  • Current experience in a senior sales position with responsibility across multiple regions and large sales teams. .
  • Have developed skills and proven experience implementing strategies that drive top line revenue and profit.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural, matric organisations.
  • Proven Project management skills and experience managing change within Hotel Sales environment.
  • Experience in training and driving efficient use of technology and reporting. 
  • Capable of identifying key trends, translate into vision, influence stakeholders and drive and implement change.
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Strong decision making skills
  • Strong communication skills and ability to build rapport
