Overview

The incumbent is jointly accountable to ensure that the overall achievement of Kemin’s Vietnam vaccine sales and gross margin budgets of Kemin Biologics every fiscal year are met or exceeded by exercising his responsibilities in the following areas: 

  • Training of distribution sales team towards technical competency and confidence; 
  • Technical Support as a key differentiator to build customers’ trust and confidence; 
  • Kemin brand as a solid and innovative science-based company to build trust and confidence in the marketplace.

Responsibilities

TRAINING: 

  • Design and implement a yearly training curriculum for the distributor teams, and customers. 
  • Support Kemin Biologics’s vaccine business on the content of the training curriculum and align with the value propositions 

TECHNICAL SUPPORT: 

  • Make technical presentation to key customers, including distributors during local technical conference/roadshow/seminars. 
  • Contribute to the success of our distribution partners with technical and sales support 
  • Support Kemin Biologics sales activities especially for key sales projects with key customers (not limited to Vietnam) 
  • Meet customers to and support with technical assistance such as able to diagnosis diseases 
  • Provide technical insights during visits to key customers. 
  • Provide scientific rigor to 
  • Marketing and commercial trial protocols before implementation; 
  • R&D on in vitro and in vivo trial protocols before implementation. 
  • Design and follow up trial protocols with key customers and follow up closely on the trial implementation 
  • Interact with the authorities regarding the registration of products in Vietnam 

KEMIN BRAND 

  • Ensure a high standard of technical accuracy in all marketing collateral, including web contents. 
  • Publish 3 articles in local publication. 

Qualifications

  • Qualified degree to practice Veterinary Science / Doctor in Veterinary Medicine with minimum five years of hands-on experience in livestock production and disease. 
  • Hands-on poultry farm experience 
  • Well respected in the industry for providing practical solutions 
  • Strong interpersonal skills to be able to work effectively in a diverse team environment 
  • Outstanding presentation, selling and negotiating skills. 
  • Self-motivated, able to work in an unsupervised capacity whilst maintaining focus. 
  • Results-oriented. 
  • Clear, persistent, patient and proactive communication skills. 
  • Be updated with veterinary matters 
  • Superior project management skills with experience in planning, innovating, developing and selling value-added propositions using sound technical and commercial reasoning. 
  • Good knowledge of the English Language is mandatory. 

Working Conditions: The Technical Sales Manager is based in Vietnam. The position requires flexibility and may require the incumbent to travel domestically and internationally
