POSITION SUMMARY

The Director, Supply Chain Planning & Analytics is a highly visible role that is responsible for leading the Wine & Spirits Supply Chain analytics, reporting & operational effectiveness initiatives. As a key contributor to the organization-wide cross-functional S&OP Process, the Director plays a critical role bridging the needs of the commercial business partners and capabilities within Operations. Collaboration with senior leaders in Operations, Finance, Marketing, Sales, Growth & IT is critical to success in this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supply Chain Planning

  • Aid broader planning team preparation for and executing the annual, monthly, and weekly planning cycles (IBP/S&OP/S&OE)
  • Within the S&OP cycle, own preparation for Portfolio Review (PR), Integrated Reconciliation (IR) and Exec Review. Facilitate the PR, and act as back up facilitator for the IR
  • Facilitate critical discussions with cross-functional leaders on status of the operational plan, sales forecast, inventory status, issue resolution, etc. including meetings with VPs and SVPs 
  • Utilize comprehensive knowledge of company's internal operations to develop forward-looking focus for business and work to achieve the organization's operational and financial goals
  • Ensure Demand & Supply functions are aligned to key NPD milestones Stage Gate process
  • Facilitate the annual and monthly SKU Rationalization processes
  • Lead the Finished Goods (FG) Obsolescence Mitigation processes

Analytics, Reporting & Operational Effectiveness

  • Create processes and tools required to capture and publish supply chain metrics as needed. Develop targets and benchmarks where they don’t exist
  • Anticipate operational and strategic needs independently and enhance/develop new metrics/dashboards and other reporting tools to drive decision making
  • Help develop decision-support tools and automate reporting to improve performance across the end-to-end Supply Chain
  • Partner closely with the IT teams to work through systems issues and to identify/implement process improvements
  • Extract and analyze large data sets to proactively identify planning improvement opportunities
  • Facilitate problem solving sessions with cross functional teams to identify and/or refine improvement opportunities relating to supply chain planning
  • Maintain the S&D dashboard in support of the monthly S&OP cycle
  • Support system/technical needs for partners in Demand and Supply Planning
  • All other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University majoring in Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering or a Business-related field
  • Minimum 10+ years progressive experience in Consulting, Planning, Finance, Continuous Improvement, Supply Chain or Production roles. 
  • Experience with Sales & Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning cycles, or large cross functional alignment processes
  • Proven track record of using data to make strategic business recommendations. Robust analytical skills and attention to detail, while staying focused on the big picture
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, & problem-solving skills required
  • Solid, straightforward, and professional oral and written communication skills, including presenting data and analysis clearly to various levels (practitioner to executives)
  • Expert level proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and other MS Suite applications
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively with co-workers, related internal functions, external partners, and lead project teams
  • Ability to work with all levels and functions within the Company and with external business partners

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge and practical application of advanced statistical analysis and mathematical modeling concepts and principles
  • Experience standing up practices and transforming processes
  • Project management leadership experience
  • Management Consulting experience
  • Experience with JDA and SAP

The salary range for this role is:

$113,200.00 - $241,700.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), and any other benefits to eligible employees.
