As part of our West Region, you are being asked to be a Leader of Business Development, focused on multiple subsegments of our Technology industry. You will be responsible for leading the largest sales team identifying high potential technology transformation deals both independently and in partnership with Accenture to drive new and incremental revenue by prospecting, partnering, acquiring, and developing new and fast-growing business with clients. Your team will build a pipeline for growth and shepherd deals through closure, including working with our legal team on contracts. In addition to clients you work with directly, you will also interact with Accenture’s, new and current clients, gain referrals from them, and form strong trust relationships that open doors and close deals. You will maintain an extensive knowledge of current market conditions and applicable services and solutions.

Your Daily Responsibilities Include:

  • Developing and leading a team of high performing sellers as you help align strategy with day to day field activities.
  • Building and maintaining access to key business decision makers and generating C-level contacts by networking across the marketplace. 
  • Meeting with Microsoft and Accenture to grow and maintain various channel relationships.
  • Demonstrating and teaching the Avanade Sales Process, challenger selling and account management practices.
  • Managing your team’s sales forecast and instilling good pipeline hygiene within your team.
  • Developing and deploying specific industry use cases based on experience.
  • Occasionally travel to your client’s site, as needed.

Your Background and Skills Include:

  • Validated experience in services selling across multiple technology Solution areas (Applications & Infrastructure, Modern Workplace, Business Applications and Data & Artificial Intelligence), preferably enterprise scale consulting engagements that could include global delivery.
  • Working effectively with Microsoft, and other partners to grow their book of business.
  • Anticipating, identifying, and applying fast, effective solutions to remove roadblocks circumstances.
  • Deep experience working with Accenture account teams, leadership and aligning with their rhythms to activate enterprise sales motions.
  • Success as a Business development Hunter with sophisticated closure capabilities
  • Ability to act as a trusted advisor in addressing our client’s business needs.
  • Driving sales in a Challenger-selling environment at the C-suite level.

Compensation for roles at Avanade varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set and level of experience. As required by local law, Avanade provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in California, Colorado, New York, and Washington as set forth below and information on benefits offered is here. 

Role Location: Range of Starting Pay for role

California: $173,000 to $204,000

Washington: $173,000 to $204,000
