Cluster Supply Chain Stock Controller - Kuwaiti National 

POSITION SUMMARY

Nestlé is looking for someone act as a trusted co-pilot within the Cluster Supply Chain team in the development of the strategic view of Supply Chain Operations. Provide visibility to costs related to the Supply Chain processes by driving relevant analysis and reporting (monitoring of the budget/forecasts/targets and controlling variances), ensuring adherence to financial and legal requirements as well as Nestlé Accounting Standards.

A DAY IN THE LIFE …

  • Challenge assumptions in seeking cost improvements in Supply Chain; seek, identify and support cost improvement opportunities, validate and review proposed savings.
  • Participate in supply network optimization studies.
  • Facilitate meaningful dialogue on Logistics Trade Terms and cost-to-serve trade-offs
  • Coordinate reporting of actuals (including organizing and overseeing timeliness and accuracy of period-end close) and forecasts across Supply Chain.
  • Ensure transparency of the process; follow up and monitoring of progress to close gaps ensuring that financial policies, accounting standards and costing standards are followed.
  • Coordinate with the countries to prepare Distribution Costs forecast and budget for the Cluster.
  • Work closely with the Cluster SC Manager to manage the Finished Goods Inventory effectively to optimize Inventory Working Capital and to reduce the bad goods.
  • Perform revisions or simulations if needed with focus on risks and opportunities for the function.
  • Ensure full transparency of strategic Supply Chain decisions on the organization (financial & nonfinancial).
  • Ensure supplier payment terms are aligned to Nestle principles and accounting standards.

What will make you successful…

  • BA/BS in Business/Finance
  • CMA/CIMA preferred
  • 2-4 years' experience in a previous analytical/audit/costing/accounting role
  • Fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) industry experience • Proficiency in English and language of the market (where applicable)
  • Core knowledge of the 10 Corporate Business Principles and expert knowledge in our areas of responsibility
  • Good understanding of the Nestlé Strategic Blueprint(s)
  • Thorough understanding of business environment and competition
  • Extensive knowledge of product portfolio and commercial strategies
  • Solid grounding in value creation process and the full value chain of the business
  • Solid understanding of business processes, internal controls and the GLOBE systems supporting these E2E processes
  • Extensive knowledge and application of Nestle planning principles, processes and guidelines including KPI framework
  • Extensive knowledge of Nestlé Costing (CSM, CSD, CSW)
  • Good working knowledge of Nestlé Accounting Standards (NAS) • Good working knowledge of local tax legislation
