Duration: 12 Months.
As a member of our exceptional technical writing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, accuracy, and discoverability of both internal and external technology content. You will conduct hands-on research, gather technical information from subject matter experts, and translate it into clear, concise, and well-structured documentation. This means you will sometimes be documenting the content yourself, other times you will edit contributions from others, and in some cases, you will reorganize and fix existing documentation. Additionally, you may have opportunities to manage projects and write code for various documentation requests. Your role will be that of a Documentation Engineer/Technical Writer.
Skills: Must Have:
- 6+ years’ experience in writing, technical documentation, and/or developer outreach for a developer audience or equivalent experience.
- Experience with authoring tools such as XML, HTML, Markdown, etc
- 2+ years’ experience with a programming language such as SQL, Python, etc.
- Experience in writing, proofreading, and editing.
- Experience independently defining and driving technical documentation projects.
- Experience producing and organizing content with a logical flow.
- Experience programming, using the command-line, trying out user interfaces, and working with prototype hardware in test environments.
- Experience meeting multiple deadlines.
Experience: REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Create and maintain internal and external documentation for technologies and tools used within the Department.
- Work closely with engineering, product, and support teams to ensure the quality, discoverability, and accuracy of the content you create and develop.
- Design, write, and edit technical and process documentation.
- Navigate through multiple platforms such as web, iOS, and Android.
- Create and maintain code sample fragments and sample apps.
Professional Qualification:
- BA/BS degree in computer science, technical writing, physics, mathematics, or chemistry or equivalent experience.
Experience Required: 01 – 02 Years.
Shift: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm EST (6am TO 2pm PST)
