Team Summary

The Manager will be a member of Visa Korea & Mongolia’s Business Planning and Operations team, which is responsible for development of internal and external market specific strategy, help drive strategic program execution and contribute to business performance tracking and building operational cadences. The individual will be working closely with various internal stakeholders to drive execution across the team.

What a Manager, Business Planning and Operations Korea & Mongolia does at Visa

The position is based in Seoul Korea and reports to Head of Business Planning and Operations Korea & Mongolia, and the primary responsibilities of this position are:

  • Support Korea & Mongolia in business planning, strategy development and tracking and in achieving agreed business goals. 
  • Assist in refining the business performance management process, monitor business performance and support preparation of materials for Korea & Mongolia Leadership Team business reviews
  • Be the focal point of communicating new tools and policies to the market team
  • Support pipeline management and ensure pipeline data accuracy
  • Engage with client facing teams to assist in deal structuring, internal deal approval process and performance tracking
  • Periodic aggregation and analysis of internal & external data to support business
  • Participate in tracking major project work streams related to strategic priorities
  • Help to ensure that Korea and Mongolia lead our AP Regional Sales Excellence benchmarks

Qualifications

What you will need

  • 8+ years of proven experience in key performance management and project management
  • Analytical mindset with keen sense on numbers and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and cross functional collaboration skills
  • Self-confident and hands-on, with the ability to operate in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment
  • Work with minimal direction, usually within a complex and often ambiguous environment
  • Project management skills and strong execution capability to deliver against tight deadlines
  • Determine success criteria and key performance indicators for achievement of results and track and monitor progress against those criteria
  • Fluent level English proficiency

What will also help

  • 3+ years of experience in Corporate Planning / Strategy function
  • Experience in handling projects with multiple work streams, and coordinating complex cross-enterprise processes with multiple stakeholders at both senior and junior levels
  • Significant commercial experience across a range of markets and/or functions preferred within a complex matrix organization
  • Understanding of the electronic payments industry, its products, services and technologies
  • Knowledge of Visa’s business, people and processes
  • Experience in using CRM related tools (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce)
