We are looking for qualified candidate for the role of Associate Director GFM Finance, based in Sofia.

The opportunity

The Associate Director Business Finance leads Finance Support for Global Facilities Management (GFM). Provides analytical insights to enable TGO to enhance its efficiencies and level of competitiveness. Acts as a business partner to the VP of GFM and is part of their management team. Develops and monitors functional budgets and Capex planning, reporting and analysis as required.

How you’ll spend your day

  • Manages financial processes expenditure & FTE (monthly/quarterly closing, forecasts, AOP, LRP) for GFM; analyses results and proposes necessary corrective measures; ensures adherence to expense budgets assigned. 
  • Works closely with management team to support Teva commitment on savings and cost reduction
  • Following P&L Accountability, consolidates, analyses and reports on financial performance of all Facility costs in the company, working with GBS as required
  • Provide leadership and the ability to influence key decisions in GFM
  • Reviews finance policies/procedures in conjunction with procurement policies to consider impact.
  • Leads and executes all financial aspects of capital expenditure life-cycle process for projects in GFM team responsibility
  • Provides financial support to SVP of Procurement and GFM, VP GFM and Finance line management, as required
  • Provides strong alignment across BUs on all GFM related CapEx matters
  • Provides insightful financial analyses on investments ensuring alignment of investment for the company are in line with company strategy 
  • Utilises the GBS as appropriate
  • Other projects and duties as required/assigned
  • Support activities on internal audits as required
  • Follows Safety, Health, and Environmental policies all corporate procedures

Your experience and qualifications

  • Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
  • Self-Starter: this is a global role and the successful candidate needs to be able to work on their own initiative 
  • Collaboration and influencing - listens generously, forges alignment, works collaboratively, gains buy-in
  • Planning and execution - thoroughly plans, communicate and executes financial processes
  • Thinks conceptually; strong process orientation
  • Strong system skills: able to use alternative technologies to improve processes
  • Communication - ability to clearly communicate complex matters and key business drivers at all levels of the organization; has professional stature and healthy level of assertiveness to advise and challenge senior management
  • University degree
  • Strong financial acumen with 6+ years of progressive experience in finance/accounting
  • Fluency in English - verbally and in writing 
  • Global or international work experience; preferably in a matrix organization 
  • Degree in finance, accounting, or related field; MBA or CPA an advantage
  • Strong ERP and consolidation systems knowledge (SAP, Oracle, Hyperion), MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, (Power Query & Power BI are preferable)
  • Previous line management experience; this role has no direct reports but will need to deliver through the engagement of a team in business services India
  • Operations finance experience; preferably as a site controller is preferred
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is preferred
  • Thorough understanding of financial systems is preferred
