A Brief Overview
The Vice President of Strategic Sourcing and Supplier Relations is a transformative leadership role within the health system, accountable for the strategic vision and execution of sourcing practices that drive optimal value and efficiency across Stanford Medicine (Stanford Healthcare, Stanford Childrens, Stanford Tri-Valley, Stanford Medicine Partners, Packard Children's Healthcare Alliance, and Stanford Blood Center). This role will be key to the 4.2B dollars in non-labor expense management across Stanford Medicine. This executive will lead a comprehensive approach to sourcing, procurement, non-labor spend expense management, and supplier engagement, ensuring a collaborative and innovative culture within the supply chain management department. This position is a key partner to tier 4 executives, medical directors, chairs, physicians, and leaders across the entities supporting system negotiations and cost reduction strategies. Functions & departments that report to this role include: Purchasing, Category Management, Recall Management, Sourcing/Supplier Relations, Receiving, Non-Labor Spend Program, Value Based Management/Selection Program.

Base Pay Scale: Generally starting at $140.00 - $185.19 per hour
The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
