Job Description Currently, we are seeking a talented Data Analysis & Visualization Specialist to join the Retirement Solutions Division based in Newport Beach, California. The Retirement Solutions Division leverages its strengths in product development, technology, services and risk management to create retirement solutions for individuals, families, and businesses. With the guidance of financial professionals, customers have access to an array of annuities and mutual funds designed to help grow assets and to provide retirement income for financial independence.
This individual will be a proven expert and thought leader in data analysis and visualization who will further our growth efforts in BI modernization through data analysis and visualization and other leading edge techniques for driving action through data driven insights. This is a hands-on leadership role to lead transformation of the BI ecosystem for the Retirement Solutions Division.
FACTORS FOR SUCCESS
•Hands on expert in Tableau development that can build and deploy complex dashboards and visualizations.
•Consults with developmental groups to build and enhance data visualization or analytical applications. Define solutions that are consistent with business strategies and standards.
•Leverage RSD business and data knowledge to address business requests, explore value delivery through data analysis.
•Helps set up and enforce governance standards and best practices to effectively manage the people, processes, technology and data for visualization/analytical applications.
•Promotes and applies industry best practices and standards for development of data visualization /analytical applications.
•Researches new tools and technologies, makes recommendations to keep BI environment for RSD in pace with industry trends and deliver leading edge functionality for RSD business users.
•Works independently and receives minimal guidance and oversight from manager.
•Lead and coordinate daily activities of project/work team and set priorities for team to ensure task completion and coordinates activities with other groups.
•Coaches and mentors other team-members.
