WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR :

The Nestle Content Strategist will be central to the Content Studio's output. This individual will be in charge of guaranteeing the cultural adequacy of all content across all included markets. As such, the Content Strategist will have to stay on top of the national, regional, and international trends that could inform, educate, and inspire our work and ensure the right learnings are applied to the content produced by the studio. Operationally, the Content Strategist will have to interface the client's requirements smoothly, the reality of each market, and the creative team in charge of producing content for Nestle. For this, we are looking for a creative thinker who can quickly react to ongoing trends, anticipate them if possible, and easily find potential ways-in for our client to benefit from them.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Trend Watching and Content Research • Stay current on the latest communication and market trends locally, regionally, and internationally. • Quickly convert ongoing trends into learnings and inspiring briefings for the content team to execute • Suggest and validate pertinent trends for the client to leverage in their communications. • Identify locally relevant cultural, social, and economic assets and convert them into communication assets for the client's promotions. • Gain a deep - and ever-changing - understanding of the several target audiences within each market. • Understand which researched and identified elements respond to and support the client's business goals. • Understand and share the status quo of each market (competitors, benchmarks, side markets) as needed. • Research, collect, share, and leverage the latest digital trends in the communication landscape. Content Strategy • Define and constantly refine each market's personas and target audiences • Define and constantly refine how each market's business goals can be converted into communication goals • Define and constantly refine the main elements of the client's content strategy ◦ Messaging ◦ Timings and Calendar ◦ Channeling ◦ Formats • Identify potential new formats, milestones, or activation media to leverage KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES • All content strategy output for this particular client • The quality of the relationship with this particular client • The task pipeline coming from this particular client • The strategic guidance of the content studio creative team • Cultural suitability and impact of the work across all markets and all brands

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree or above (marketing, advertising, communication, design) EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS • 3+ years Experience in digital strategy. • Experience working within a large network communications agency. • Experience with FMCG clients across the region is preferable. • Experience in developing content strategies, writing creative briefs, guiding development and presentation of creative work. LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY • English proficiency - must • Arabic fluency - must PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATION • Digital or Social Media certificates is a plus GENERAL SKILLS • Know how to use analytics & tools to track content performance • Strong presentation, communication, and leadership skills. • Ability to work directly with clients and develop relationships on behalf of the agency. • Familiarity with various quantitative and qualitative research methodologies and working knowledge of when and how to apply them to client opportunities/ challenges. • Demonstrate an innate curiosity and insight into human behavior and an instinct for popular culture.
