Job description :

  • Key contributor and influencer on new technology platform adoption; seek out and explore new technologies for possible implementation to further improve user experiences, enterprise integration, performance and scalability and system qualities and development efficiencies. 
  • Maintain currency of deep and broad technology knowledge; introduce applicable technology in alignment with VSP goals and for creative solutions.
  • Introduce innovative ideas for technology projects, solutions, or planning while maintaining low cost structure.
  • Assesses and analyzes business strategy, business requirements, current state environment and technology choices to evaluate solution alternatives that meet business sponsor needs.
  • Defines end-to-end technical solutions that take into account the enterprise architecture strategies, current state environment and constraints. Analyzes the viability of the solution to meet program timeline, budget and quality.
  • Define the solution architecture for assigned program / project by following the Solution architecture team process and methodology
  • Identifies technical issues and risks and defines mitigation approach.
  • Provides critical thinking, technical leadership to the program right from the idea creation stage.
  • Works with Application architect, business Analyst from the impacted application groups/3rd parties to understand the current state and constraints for defining the future state architecture & the interfaces.
  • Works with Application Architecture, Security Architecture and Infrastructure SMEs to ensure that all aspects of the solution architecture are defined and elaborated.
  • Presents architecture at the Architecture review board and others as required.
  • Provides input, guidance and direction for the development of project level solution architecture.
  • Develops the architecture artifacts (Solution Architecture Document, Architecture Decisions) as defined by the SDLC and reviews with Enterprise Architecture, Lead Architects, Business Architects and the key program stakeholders.
  • Reviews project level architectures and details designs in order to ensure compliance with the program level solution architecture.
  • Ability to lead/operate independently small to large group meetings for reviewing technical architecture, decision making and problem solving
  • Prepares and delivers presentations to business and technology partners and senior management/executives.

Mandatory Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical area of study (computer science, Engineering)
  • Minimum of fifteen years of experience with various Enterprise Architecture domains. e.g. Business Architecture, Application Architecture, Information Architecture, Infrastructure/Technical Architecture, Integration Architecture, Security Architecture and Solutions Architecture.
  • Experience in leading detailed design and E2E delivery of the solution in a SAAS platform.
  • Experience working in different domains like finance, product development, retail.
  • Strong understanding and experience with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks like TOGAF. 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation; strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions.
  • Proven experience at leading architecture of a large program from initiation to implementation Enterprise Architecture frameworks and tools (i.e; TOGAF, UML, etc.),
  • Variety of technologies/approaches including Cloud (AWS and Azure), Enterprise applications(Java or .Net), SAP, Salesforce, BI, IIB, IBM MQ, API Management, EAI, SOA.
  • Advanced ability to apply industry/technical knowledge to provide solutions that increase business results and/or minimize risk regarding the integration of applications across multiple product systems and delivery channels
  • Advanced ability to quickly evaluate options, make decisions and execute within an intense high-tech environment
