In this role, the incumbent is responsible for defining, evolving, and executing on the Supplier Management and Travel, Meetings & Employee Expense vision and strategy. This product line includes the Supplier Performance & Analytics, Supplier Risk & Vendor Management, Employee Expenses & Card Management, Fleet Management, and Travel & Meeting Management products. They are responsible for understanding and influencing the objectives, defining opportunities to take to meet those objectives, and ensuring that these are well defined with measurable outcomes. The Product Lead looks after the 3 P’s of a Product Line; Purpose, Process, and People.

Supplier Management and Travel, Meetings & Employee Expense Product Line Lead primary responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Defines the product line vision and strategy in conjunction with partners and value team and ensures strategic alignment across the Product Line
  • Owns all Product Line level discovery activities and the prioritization of problems and opportunities.
  • Act as the product line's chief advocate within the wider organization. And is responsible for all stakeholders being clear on product roadmap, points of contact for demand management and support, priorities, status, support/operations issues.
  • Works closely with Technical and Design Leads to remove obstacles for the team and ensure Product Line goals are met.
  • Drives a transparent prioritization process and monitors risks and dependencies across the Product Line
  • Drive team focus on ensuring high customer satisfaction and that this is continuously improving
  • Ensure alignment of the product line outcomes to realize value team targets and to other initiatives influencing the objectives of the product line
  • Oversee the commitments made by the Product Line as a whole and work to manage expectations as needed when things change during development.
  • Coaches others to enhance their Product skills and collaborates with other product leaders to share best practices.
  • Drive for continuous improvements in delivery efficiency and quality including best practice product agile operations across the team, with clear definitions of success and clear metrics to measure the progress to success.
  • Proactively monitor the measures defined to determine value being delivered,
  • Each product/product line is meeting/exceeding business enablement, life cycle management SLAs and adherence to policy compliance procedures with a performance monitoring dashboard in place with metrics-driven indicators available to proactively identify correct opportunities to pursue.
  • Ensure compliance goals are defined and in alignment with organization compliance goals and that metrics are in place to track actual relative to goals.
  • Is responsible for the P&L and TCO of the overall Product Line and ensures financial / governance reporting, issue, risk, status communication to all stakeholders is timely, complete, and accurate.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors in IT, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience, with at least 2+ years of demonstrated technical leadership experience using Agile methodologies
  • 5+ years leadership experience managing global teams
  • Experience implementing and managing Data & Analytics, Supplier Management, or Travel Management platforms
  • Demonstrable experience owning and delivering digital products throughout their entire lifecycle
  • Leadership and management skills, with proven abilities to set direction, lead and motivate team members and the proven ability to drive organizational change
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly establish credibility and trust with a variety of stakeholders as well as ability to align the organization on complex technical decisions
  • Experience with a significant P&L responsibility
