Role

We are looking for an experienced Product Manager - Technical to join our team and help us build towards the future. Our Product Managers - Technical (PM-Ts) bring the voice of the customer, working closely with squads to maximise value across the portfolio in our agile execution model.

In this role, you get to dive as deep as you want into the tech stack, the integration patterns, the organizational capabilities, and the company- wide assets that can be leveraged to provide technical solutions to customer problems. You will partner with customers, the sales team and product managers to contribute to the strategies, roadmap planning, design choices, and backlog creation necessary to deliver high-profile new features and capabilities.

You may drive the value creation of a feature through the full stack or may drive an initiative which spans multiple teams and integrations.

All About You

  • Demonstrated ability to operate with independence and autonomy
  • Experience defining and building cloud-native software products as a platform at scale with a deep understanding of those platforms' capabilities and underlying technologies
  • Proficient at grooming user stories, setting entrance/exit criteria and prioritizing a platform product backlog.
  • Familiarity with SQL, coupled with first-hand experience in developing against APIs, and a proven track record as an end-user of Developer- focused solutions, to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business requirements in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated experience breaking down problems, organizing work, planning sprints, and operating in agile delivery models (Scrum, Kanban, etc.)
  • Enjoys diving deep to understand the needs of all stakeholders, converting those needs into a backlog, and making trade offs so that the squads are focused on delivering the best possible value
  • Proven track record of data-driven decision-making and applying continuous improvement methodologies across teams
  • Can debate the delivery strategy with business teams, architects, engineers, and designers
  • Can communicate to executives, peers, and staff with impact, eloquence, and authenticity
  • Demonstrated experience building relationships, partnering with and influencing dependant teams while commanding the respect of the individuals you work with across the organization
  • Comfortable giving and receiving critical feedback with a focus on collective improvement
