Working schedule is targeted for 1st shift Mon-Fri: 7:00am - 5:00pm CST. Second shift and weekend coverage can be used to complete high priority parts to meet deadlines.

Detailed Job Description: Project Engineer

Lead a team in the inspection of commercial aircraft engine parts. Adhere to Quality Control & Process Control requirements to recognize and address any issues that result in underperformance of the cell's ability or customer non-satisfaction. Participate in planning meetings. Personnel are not expected to lift any object weighing more than 25 lbs. H/W above 25 lbs. in weight should be moved by two people or with lifting devices. Work involves only commercial engine parts. 

  • Serve as an expert in auditing, and mentoring others in parts inspection and process validation.
  • Familiarity with parts inspection tools such as CMM, profilometer, surface gauges, 3D laser scanners, borescopes, and digital cameras.
  • Prepare comprehensive quality reports by collecting, interpreting, analyzing, and summarizing data and making recommendations to Parts Review organization.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to ensure clarification and meet specific requirements in a timely manner.
  • Delegate tasks to 20 team members according to their individual skill sets, experience and abilities to ensure efficient completion of the project.
  • Review client requests for part inspection and plan activity.
  • Maintain schedule and make adjustments according to needs as they arise.
  • Track performance and analyze the completion of key goals.
  • Document and report project progress to stakeholders and clients weekly.
