Purpose of Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing engineering projects execution, ensuring that they are completed on time and within budget. The Project Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage resources, and provide technical expertise to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects.

Key Responsibilities: (What are the top 4 focus areas of the job, Safety First is required)

  • Lead team to deliver projects on time and within budget. He will plan, budget, schedule, and mobilize resources and people as well as manage project implementation according to contract agreements and in line with company objectives.
  • Oversee current projects under ID Minerals Processing and provide scheduling updates to the client.
  • Ensure project is on schedule and within budget. Strive to achieve on time delivery.
  • Attend meeting with clients as well with various ID Minerals Processing groups.
  • Responsible for all operational activities of assigned projects.
  • Travel to on-site locations to meet with internal and external customers.
  • Maintain a high degree of situation awareness to track and manage issues.
  • Follow WEIR group procedures and processes.
  • Contract review with Customer
  • Tracking and monitoring subcontractor work.
  • Ensuring quality and safety throughout all the project stages.
  • Identifying, monitoring, and mitigating risks.
  • Creating project documentation.
  • Reporting progress at every stage of the project.
  • Gathering feedback and evaluating the project.

Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

  • Must have good knowledge of engineering and industry standards and familiar with project management.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business Management is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and project management experience.
  • 5 to 10 years within a project management role.
  • Experience handling customers and internal stakeholders professionally throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
