Engagement Specialist, Atrium

Why we are recruiting 

We are seeking an Engagement Specialist for Atrium, a digital platform designed to accelerate government digital transformation, developed in partnership with GovTech Campus Germany and the newly established Global Government Technology Centre Berlin. The Support and Engagement Specialist will be a key player in securing the success of Atrium, providing both technical support and strategic direction in fostering user engagement and developing new engagement opportunities. 

Reporting lines and interactions 

The Engagement Specialist, Atrium, will report to the Head of Product, Forum Spaces. 

The individual selected will work very closely with direct colleagues in Product Management, Digital Success, and interact daily with Forum and external colleagues working on the GovTech agenda and the Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. 

Breakdown of main responsibilities  

Member Support: Serve as the primary point of contact for Atrium members seeking technical assistance. This includes troubleshooting software issues, guiding users through features, and escalating complex issues to our engineering team. 

Member Onboarding: Mange the end-to-end process to invite and onboard new members onto the platform. This includes inviting users, following up, providing trainings/walkthroughs. 

Data Update and Governance: Ensure that member database of both member organizations and individuals are up to date. Create and maintain high-quality data on activities (e.g. events and projects) 

Community Engagement: Develop and implement strategies to increase member engagement. This includes curating community feed, creating and managing user training programs, gathering user feedback, and working with our product team to improve the user experience. 

Platform Monitoring: Regularly monitor the platform to ensure it is functioning optimally. This includes tracking platform usage, identifying potential issues, and working with our engineering team to resolve them. 

Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure their needs are being met. This includes soliciting feedback, providing updates on platform improvements, and advocating for user needs within our organization. 

Opportunity Development: Creatively seek out new opportunties for user engagment and value creation for the GovTech workstreams using the capabilities of the Forum Spaces platform. 

Requirements for this role include: 

  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field 
  • 3+ years of experience in a user support or engagement role for a digital platform 
  • Familiarity and passion for government, technology and digital transformation 
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot technical issues 
  • Excellent written, digital, and verbal communication skills with fluency in English required; fluency in German and other languages are strong assets for this position
