POSITION SUMMARY:

The HR Business Partner (HRBP) will be an experienced human resource professional who works with organization's leadership to develop and direct an HR agenda that closely supports organizational goals, our culture by providing strategic and tactical HR services including but not limited employee relations, performance management, training, talent development, workforce planning, compensation & benefits and other HR projects and initiatives as required.

This is a full-time position, and a flexibility is required to meet the expectations of global HR team. A candidate is expected to meet onshore team via Microsoft Teams call on frequent basis (US morning time). The role is hybrid and will require the individual to be office based for minimum 3 days per week.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In their role as the primary HR resource for APAC, the HRBP acts as the trusted advisor to the Senior HR Business Partner (APAC) and the Practice Leaders and Practice Operations Professionals (Office Managers) across the region, partnering with them in areas such as:

  • Builds the business partner relationship with executives, management, and teams; understands the business, goals, and challenges; and identifies and develops solutions to address systemic issues.
  • Provides advice to executives and supporting management teams in areas of organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, employee engagement, performance management, training, and development.
  • As a steward of the company's values, advises, influences and coaches to build and support a diverse, inclusive, productive and high integrity work environment.
  • Provides guidance and input on restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
  • Coach and counsel managers on maintaining positive employee relations for a wide range of issues. Conduct investigations in response to complex employee relations issues and recommend/implement courses of action based on investigation results.
  • Collaborates with business leaders on employee development and talent planning decisions. Assists leaders with annual reviews and development plans for employees.
  • Develops strategies for practices to leverage existing tools such as HRIS to help support their business and improve efficiency.
  • Analyzes HR trends and metrics, partners with practice leaders to develop effective and consistent people solutions, programs and policies throughout the business.
  • Produces HR-related information, on ad hoc basis, for the practice/discipline during the RFP process.
  • Maintains knowledge of legal requirements related to the management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
  • Updates HR policies and employee handbooks as necessary to keep up with business and regulatory changes.
  • Drives key HR team projects by taking a leadership role and managing project efforts including scheduling and resources as well as owning responsibility for holding project team members accountable for deliverables.
  • Develops project-related communications and presentations.
  • Co-develops project processes and timelines. Works collaboratively with project managers to plan, drive, and monitor projects.
  • Identifies opportunities to develop and implement process improvement initiatives.
  • Responsible for monitoring status, managing issues, and escalating when appropriate.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor or master’s degree in HR or related field from UGC AICTE Approved University only.
  • The ideal candidate must have minimum of 5 years' experience working as HRBP or in a similar capacity.
  • The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, performance management, and respective employment laws, state and federal/central.
  • The ideal candidate must have professional and consultative approach in working with all levels of executives, leaders, management, and employees.
  • The ideal candidate must have knowledge of change management.
  • Must have demonstrable ability to resolve complex employee relations issues.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must have excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Must have the ability to solve problems and find solutions independently, with others, and to lead by example .
  • Must be comfortable and confident using data/Excel and providing interpretations to that data (e.g. exit interview data, engagement survey data etc)
  • Must have demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information as well as possessing skills to handle situations in a professional and diplomatic manner.
  • Must have demonstrated ability to manage and follow through on multiple priorities and assignments.
  • Must have the ability to be flexible, but also to distinguish when appropriate to maintain boundaries.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED:

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)/CIPD certification.

LOCATION:

Candidate will be required to work out of Gurgaon office atleast 3 days a week.
