We seek an experienced Project Manager to manage projects that deliver complete Product/Solution Packages for EPCs, Chemical , Oil& Gas projects, Industrial Clients and Utilities. Applications by integrating various ABB and non-ABB products such as eHouse /Container solutions, Medium and Low Voltage Switchgear, Transformer, DC Switchgears as well as Fire& Gas and HVAC sys-tems. Also PM should be involved in the engineering and the integration of cabling calculations, cable routes, cable trays, busbars, lighting and earthing of the eHouse. The Project Manager will be responsible for interfacing with the clients, suppliers, subcontractors and the involved ABB factories from offer preparation, and order entry until the project is finalized and turned over to the client. In this position, the successful candidate will manage projects of medium to medium-high levels of complexity that involve coordinating complex customer and internal structures that come with our Sales and Solutions Structure. With significantly high volumes and values range, Projects could combine several international product teams that need to be expertly coordinated.

Your responsibilities

  • The primary focus of this role will be the management of commercial and customer aspects of assigned projects, where you will serve as prime interface with customers and project participants, on all contractual matters,
  • Support the tendering process and attend meetings with Sales Teams, if necessary, to meet with client personally prior to receipt of official order and turnover of the project,
  • Review orders from a technical and commercial standpoint during negotiation,
  • Manage Order Entry of the project,
  • Conduct project turnover/kick-off meetings with Sales/Marketing Team,
  • Overall Project Management and execution of orders based on technical specifications and commercial contractual requirements,
  • Should pay visit to client and necessary people involved to project from customer site to accelerate of closing topics and to ensure that all project milestones is going on time,
  • Proactive Project Management is expected from the candidate by visiting clients periodically to overview the general schedule and taking actions,
  • Execution of orders including scheduling, tracking, shipment, invoicing coordination, closing and being single point of contact for all technical and commercial coordination with customers and suppliers from the beginning to the end,
  • Involve in all engineering and integrations process of eHouse projects with assigned engineering teams, and coordinate together with customer,
  • Lead and be present at all manufacturing and installation process in order to maintain ABB quality and HSE process,
  • Ensure all project management activities are performed in strict accordance with ABB Business Ethics, ABB policy, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitment,
  • Sees the overall impact of scope changes & claims and actively negotiates as they arise to ABB’s best interest. Also pursue strategic change order opportunities to increase customer orders and lower risk,
  • Plan critical path, monitor and control project activities to maximize cash flow,
  • Accurately forecast project revenue, profitability, costs, margins and cash flow,
  • Should be certified PM or will pursue ABB certification program.

Your background

  • BS in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or similar disciplines,
  • At least 8 Year Experience in managing complex, Large Scale Multidiscipline long-term projects. EHouse (containerized solutions) expertise in different size and complexity projects is preferred,
  • Site installation and commissioning experience of mechanical and electrical systems in highly preferred,
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills in Turkish and English,
  • No obstacle of traveling %30-40 of the time,
  • Must hold a valid drivers license,
  • Action oriented, strong interpersonnel & communication skills, team work oriented,
  • Must be self-motivated and a high level of creativity,
  • Self-Reliant and able to make decisions under pressure. Creative thinker and problem solver,
  • Experience in preparing progress payment reports,
  • Experience in management of subcontractors for installations, tests, commissioning and Related contracts,
  • Preferably have practical experience with SAP, MS Project, AutoCAD,
  • Experience in dealing with the cultural diversity of a global business environment.
