Your Opportunity as a Team Lead Technician, Away from Home Equipment & Service (Coffee Equipment) 

Take your technical skills to the next level by leading one of our Field Service Technician teams. Be a part of the team that helps consumers across the U.S. gain access to their beloved coffee when they are away from home. Your leadership skills will help provide technical and administrative support to technicians in the field and ensure we are operating according to best-in-class customer service standards.

Location: Greater Bay Area (Northern California) or Oregon/Southern Washington State Area

In this role you will: 

  • Perform service and installation on specified coffee brewing and beverage dispensing equipment.
  • Manage equipment inventories including quarterly warehouse inventory checks and ordering parts as needed.
  • Perform scheduled and unscheduled service activities including emergency service calls, proactive maintenance, site surveys and installations.
  • Ensure performance of service activities meet standard operating procedures and are executed in compliance with all published policies and processes.
  • Document verification requirements including electronic invoices, customer names and contact information, reported quality issues and other related activities.
  • Collaborate with Field Service Manager to resolve customer service inquires and other scheduling inquires as needed.
  • Participate in company wide training programs and department specific webinars.

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Previous people management experience
  • Must live in specific territory of role assigned/posted
  • 3+ years of technical field service experience
  • Basic electrical and plumbing skills/knowledge
  • Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office (ex. Outlook, Teams, Excel)
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to provide a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Ability to meet physical requirements of the job including lifting up to 75 pounds and driving on a frequent basis
  • Ability to travel approximately 25%
  • Ability to work on-call hours at least once a month (on-call duties are covered by a rotational program)
