About the Role

We are seeking an experienced IT Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our organization's systems, data, and infrastructure by implementing and managing security solutions such as Microsoft Azure/Entra, Google Workspace, Single Sign-On (SSO), Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Mobile Device Management (MDM), Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Slack, and end-user support in a hybrid Windows and Mac environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT security principles and practices, as well as experience with relevant technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and manage security solutions such as Microsoft Azure/Entra and Google Workspace to ensure the organization's systems, data, and infrastructure are secure.
  • Design and implement SSO solutions using SAML and SCIM to provide easy access to applications and resources without compromising security.
  • Implement and manage MDM solutions to monitor and control mobile devices, ensuring they meet organizational security policies.
  • Manage the organization's storage solutions (Dropbox and Google Drive), including user accounts, access controls, and data security.
  • Monitor and manage communication platforms such as Slack to ensure secure collaboration among employees.
  • Provide end-user support for Windows and Mac devices, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest IT security trends and technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve the organization's security posture.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and guidelines for end-users.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in IT, Systems Management 
  • Experience working with Microsoft Azure/Entra and Google Workspace
  • Proficient using Single Sign-On, Security Assertion Markup Language (SAML), Mobile Device Management, Microsoft 365, Dropbox, Slack, End-user support for Windows and Mac
  • B.A/B.S in a related field or equivalent work experience

Location and Compensation

  • San Francisco, hybrid work model

Base salary range for this role is $135,000-155,000, taking into account numerous variable factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and organizational requirements.
