Bachelor’s degree in Digital Arts/Graphic Design (or other related field) or equivalent years of experience
3+ years of work experience in a creative production environment or graphic design industry
A strong understanding of layout principles and the “Cause and Effect” of resizing a campaign
Experience creating campaigns and extending the look and feel through various re-sizes
Guideline decision making to either extend or create design guidelines for a new or existing campaigns and guide junior operators
Work well integrating retouched materials into newly developed templates
Computer/IT literate on Apple Mac OSX / High-end PC
Must be able to demonstrate all around Microsoft skills
Ability to work with Scamps and develop into initial concepts / designs
Experience working within a creative workflow system
Understanding of marketing
Excellent working knowledge of file release/delivery protocols such as FTP
Excellent technical pre-press and print process knowledge
Good understanding of color separation, trapping and font management
Ability to verify resolution and size.
Ability to verify output against brief/client Instructions
Proven ability in inspections processes covering; content verification, color reproduction, obvious spelling, punctuation and grammar
Fluent in CS5 Design Standard Applications InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop and Quark Xpress on Mac OSX platform/Prepress /Digital Production experience
Knowledge of pre-press, 4/C process and spot color printing and all standard print practices across digital and conventional disciplines
Understanding color theory and icc profile application in the prepress environment
OOH Print and digital station domination build and delivery experience.
JOB DUTIES

*Create guidelines from existing or new materials for dedicated brands
*Work closely with project management to build layouts under strict design guidelines
*Maintain training members of the production/design teams in digital artwork processes and where relevant print process and materials.
*Interpret and translate the brief/client requirements and effective communicate to internal teams
*Work with the Retouch and Language departments to create the highest quality output while keeping brand identity constant
*Constant communication between international departments on brand elements is essential so that latest guidelines and rules are being followed.
*Responsible for ensuring the work produced is within brand guidelines and to specification, within, but not limited to, file color density limits size/specification limits
To be pro-active and maximize the software and workflow tools to give the client, end user and/or print vendor an outstanding finished product
Ensure that time and materials are correctly accounted for
Be aware of budget allowed on each project and ensure time allowed is adhered to
Provide WIP status update when required
Attend and provide creative input into team meetings; willing to put forward new ideas
Keep abreast of emerging technology in the creative, digital, print environments
Ensure that staff have a full understanding of the branding guidelines for designated brand
