Role Objective:

Reporting to the General Manager Human Resources you’ll deliver a wide range of high quality recruitment, sourcing and talent brand initiatives, ensuring Chubb Life and COG is attractive to candidates and our brand is set apart from competitors. You’ll focus on building talent pipelines, and building the Chubb Life and COG brands. You’ll own the end to end recruitment process and any associated reporting.

Responsibilities:

As a member of a small HR team you will need to be willing to support initiatives throughout the whole HR life cycle.

Recruitment/Sourcing:

  • Conduct end to end recruitment work including ad writing, phone screening, interviews, and probity check. Working closely with managers to ensure these are robust and completed thoroughly.
  • Provide strategic recruitment advice to managers in the business, looking at recruitment and sourcing opportunities outside of job boards.
  • Actively work with teams to seek referrals for roles.
  • Source, headhunt and build pipelines of candidates for roles across the business.
  • Build and maintain market maps and talent pipelines.
  • Network and promote Chubb Life’s best interests as appropriate to support getting our employer brand and roles out to the public.
  • Keep on top of salary trends across the industry to ensure competitive offers are made and ensure staff retention.
  • Act as a mentor for junior members of the team.
  • Work with the finance team to ensure headcount is approved for any roles recruited and seek appropriate approvals from the business to recruit.
  • Build and maintain strong and equitable working relationships with managers and staff. Ability to anticipate their requirements and respond in a timely, informative and helpful manner, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Support managers to negotiate job offers, write employment agreements, and ensure the end-to-end recruitment process runs smoothly with the hiring manager before handing over to the HR Coordinator for onboarding.

EVP and Employer Branding:

  • Build progressive marketing and communication campaigns that build awareness of Chubb Life’s talent brand and create engaging, powerful and diverse talent pipelines
  • Lead the development and delivery of compelling recruiting content
  • Manage vendors related to the execution of employer branding initiatives, including stretching partnerships to meet goals while minimizing overall expense
  • Build relationships with key internal influencers in Marketing, Communications and other departments to ensure alignment between teams and strategies.
  • In partnership with Marketing develop and lead Talent Acquisition Social Media Strategy
  • Identify key areas of improvement in the employment branding / recruitment marketing space (i.e. job aids / reference documents), prioritize findings and determine where and how the team can make the greatest impact
  • Ensure all external employment brand collateral/messaging is consistent and within brand

Requirements:

  • Experience in recruiting, sourcing, and human resources
  • Experience defining and executing attraction, outreach, and lead generation strategies through various channels to meet high growth recruiting objectives
  • Project management experience that enables flawless implementation of the various tactics and a great candidate experience
  • Experience creating presentations and business cases and presenting them to senior leaders
  • Substantial experience leveraging social media, community sites, industry groups, and internet sourcing platforms to connect with hard to reach candidates
  • A deep history of networking and establishing strategic relationships both internally and externally
  • Highly articulate, with excellent writing skills
