ABOUT THE INTERNSHIP
Meow Wolf is proud to provide one of a kind experience to students through our internship program. To be eligible, students must be a New Mexico resident enrolled in college or university to apply.
This is a full time internship. The candidate selected is expected to work in-person at Meow Wolf’s offices in Santa Fe with occasional remote time. Students will be paid $18.00 per hour and have the opportunity to work with company leaders and experts in their field. The intern must be available for the duration of the internship, Monday, June 10, 2024 - Friday, August 16, 2024.

Exhibition Technical Arts, ETA, is a team within Meow Wolf INC, and is comprised of creatives, engineers, designers, and technicians who collaborate on concepts, development, and production of Audio, Video, Lighting, Technical Direction, Show Control, and Installation Management for Meow Wolf exhibitions. The Exhibition Technical Arts internship is an interdisciplinary, collaborative work opportunity focused around the creation of immersive art experiences, with an eye toward gaining an overall understanding of how a technical focused group of creatives delivers work.
Internship Description:
The Exhibition Technical Arts internship is a collaborative experience focused around the creation of engaging technical art and design. The ETA intern will support the Technical Directors and AVL Production Managers, as well as other ETA Team members with day-to-day creation of prototypes, designs, and other deliverables. The ETA Intern will also help maintain a clean, organized and functional space.
The ETA intern will be responsible for helping execute a creative vision within the larger scope of a Meow Wolf collaborative project by being an integral member of and a creative collaborator in artistic technical productions. They will bring out the best in others, both creatively and culturally, as a considerate and reliable team member. The intern will gain experience in working with a collaborative team and will be comfortable working with a variety of mediums and techniques. Displaying willingness and potential to work on small teams to assist others on projects is key.
This position operates in a professional studio and office environment, which includes the need to use standard Audio, Video, Lighting, or fabrication equipment such as powered and non-powered tools. The intern will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. The intern is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. They must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
This internship is expected to be in-person at Meow Wolf’s manufacturing facility in Santa Fe.
