Based in any European location close to an International airport, preferably close to an Emerson office or site, The Director of Level Product Management is responsible for the overall Level portfolio, and forward strategies for the World Area along with strong input to the Global CRD development process! 

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Product Line business leadership functions including but not limited to:

  • Market assessment: understand growth dynamics/market force, drivers for responsible products and competition and respond to changing market conditions;
  • Customer needs: understand the industries, applications, personas and voices for the customers of responsible products;
  • Product and portfolio management: understand product tiering and positioning, road mapping, envisioning and investment strategies;
  • Expand and complete growth initiatives in Europe, lead Product POR and be engaged in S&OP;
  • Build positive relationships with key stakeholders in the global Pressure and Temperature product company;
  • Engage in New Product Development (NPD): work with global product company collaboratively and incorporate voice of European customers into NPD process; engage with development teams to meet customers’ needs and business financial targets;
  • Define and achieve product line financial targets of revenue, unit growth, profitability and market participation;
  • Closely supervise volume and price/discount trends; develop and implement price programs;
  • Work with multiple function groups to ensure operation readiness for new product launches develop and implement new product launch plan to ensure new products are adopted in Europe speedily;
  • Provide business and product management leadership for engineering, operations, quality and other functions;

Work closely with European sales force, world area marketing and business development teams to achieve growth goals via:

  • Work with country sales organization closely to ensure Product tiering strategy is implemented at country level;
  • Link with the Sales Leadership in the region and build a good balance between top line objectives and the profitability, market penetration and product line growth via efficient mix;
  • Identify training, tools and other resources required for the European sales force;
  • Conduct training for internal and external customers as required;
  • Assist in providing subject-matter expertise to marketing teams in Europe and globally as they build and complete initiatives;
  • Engage closely with European and Product Line executive leadership on strategy formulation and execution to profitably grow and expand our market participation.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • B.S. Degree in engineering or business;
  • MBA or similar desired, but not required;
  • Minimum 3 years experience in leadership role; 
  • Related confirmed experience, in sales or marketing;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English;

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

  • Knowledge of any other European language is a plus.
