The Finance Manager, Hungary for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for all finance, statutory, financial planning, and compliance activities of BC Hungary. Additional has the responsibility for overseeing statutory and compliance tasks for countries in the EE region.

This position is part of the Eastern Europe Commercial Operations located in Budapest and will be under hybrid model (3 days at the office, 2 home-based).

You will be a part of the Finance Team and report to the Senior Manager Finance, East Europe Region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Be responsible for the accounting (local Statutory and US GAAP) and controlling in close cooperation with local accounting and payroll companies in preparation of all required accounting and tax records and reports
  • Work independently, drive positive change, including evaluating and streamlining of existing processes and controls to deliver accurate and timely results ensuring proper use of company resources and assets
  • Ensure financial and accounting reporting is accurate, timely and relevant and provides direction on a forward-looking basis to support business decisions
  • Support business managers and regional finance lead, in order to ensure accuracy and predictability of results, to timely report actual results and forecasts, to perform analysis of variations
  • Manage the relationship with the local banks and tax authorities, including submission of necessary information to the governmental/public institution
  • Provide a local transactional HR expertise and deliver all statutory required local task connected to personnel management

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Degree in Finance / Accounting or similar with min. 5 years of related experience required
  • Excellent accounting and financial analytical skills with USGAAP accounting knowledge
  • Proven track record for driving, supporting and building relationships with commercial functions being a business acumen with strong analytical and problem-solving techniques
  • Proficient user of MS Excel
  • Proficiency in English and Hungarian is a must
