This Role is Tailor-Made for You Because:

You have expertise in hardware, handbag, or jewelry design and are able to balance creative thinking with commercial viability while always evolving product. You are detail-oriented and have a passion for product and an eye for trend that is brand-right.

A Day in the Life:

The Designer, Hardware – Handbags & SLGs will work with the Design leads to initiate hardware concepts each season that are fashion-driven and reflective of the creative vision and Tory Burch aesthetic.

The typical day is… atypical. You might be creating sketches and product prototypes, researching vintage hardware for inspiration, or tracking the progress of hardware development. The consistent thread is that you’ll be working with an amazing team across design and product development who share your passion for excellence… and beautiful product!

To Land This Role:

• Degree in Fashion Design or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of design experience in hardware, handbags, jewelry or other related areas
• Must provide a digital portfolio of work
• Strong working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to sketch both technical drawings and freeform renderings
• Experience developing product directly with factories; understanding of development from concept through engineering
• Understanding of materials, hardware, leather, and handbag construction required
• Must be able to build all tech packs and pass specs in a detailed, organized and clear manner for factory proto-sample-making

Compensation Range

The compensation range for this position is 80,000.00 USD - 120,000.00 USD. Our offer will be based on your relevant experience and work location.
