Global Lead - HR Operations (San Francisco)

Are you passionate about redefining HR Operations through automation, pioneering new approaches without relying on traditional ticketing systems or shared service centers? Adyen is seeking an innovative Global HR Operations Lead who believes in transforming the execution of HR operations. Reporting into HR Innovations (overseeing people analytics, HR technology, and operations) this role presents an exciting opportunity to revolutionize HR practices globally.

This position is based in San Francisco, leading a dynamic team across EMEA, NORAM, LATAM, and APAC. 

What you’ll do

  • Spearhead the strategic vision for HR operations, emphasizing automation and innovative practices over conventional ticketing systems and shared service centers.
  • Lead and inspire a multifaceted HR operations team spread across diverse regions, ensuring cohesive execution of HR initiatives aligned with global objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with the Head of HR Innovations to conceptualize and implement groundbreaking strategies leveraging people analytics, HR technology, and operational efficiency.
  • Drive transformative change in HR operations, utilizing cutting-edge technologies and methodologies to streamline processes, enhance employee experience, and foster operational excellence.
  • Travel extensively across regions (EMEA, NORAM, LATAM, APAC) to facilitate alignment, provide guidance, and ensure the seamless execution of HR operations globally.
  • Act as a key liaison between regional HR teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice implementation.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging experimentation within the HR operations domain.
  • Cross-Regional Collaboration: Act as a pivotal liaison between regional HR teams, fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and best practice implementation.
  • Ensure that all HR operations adhere to global regulatory standards and internal compliance policies, implementing and overseeing compliance frameworks within diverse regions.
  • Spearhead the strategic shift towards centralized HR operations, advocating for innovative approaches over traditional systems like shared service centers, aiming to optimize efficiency across global functions.
  • Champion an inclusive work culture by promoting cultural sensitivity within HR operations, fostering diversity, and ensuring policies and practices respect and incorporate cultural nuances across all regions.

Who you are

  • Experience (9+ years) in HR operations, preferably in a global capacity, with a demonstrated track record of driving transformative change and leveraging automation.
  • Proven leadership skills, adept at inspiring and managing diverse teams across geographies to deliver exceptional results.
  • Strong believer in leveraging technology to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency within HR.
  • Visionary mindset and challenging the status quo, reshaping traditional practices, and driving innovative solutions.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of collaborating effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Willingness to travel extensively to all regions and spend initial months in Amsterdam for onboarding purposes.
