Strategic Planning Lead

Overview:

The Strategic Planning Lead plays a crucial role in steering the partnership between SVN (CHC Legal entity) and Vinapharm, focusing on Consumer Healthcare and General Medicine products' legal management. This position is key to ensuring effective internal coordination and communication, representing the company in high-stake meetings, managing financial reporting, overseeing strategic projects, and acting as the central point for administrative communications.

Responsibilities:

  • Joint Venture and External Stakeholder Management: Lead the oversight and strategic direction of the SVN and Vinapharm partnership, managing all aspects of legal matters, board meetings, dividend distributions, and administrative activities. This role reports to the Country Chair, Chief of Staff, and Country CFO.
  • Communication and Representation: Serve as the primary spokesperson for SVN, ensuring seamless coordination with internal teams for consistent actions and messaging. Represent the company in all Board of Directors and General Meeting of Shareholders, advocating for SVN's interests.
  • Financial Reporting and Strategic Project Management: Guarantee timely and high-quality financial reporting. Lead and manage strategic projects, serving as the go-to contact for all related administrative and communication matters.
  • Operational Governance: Oversee the governance of Consumer Healthcare operations, including planning and coordination of leadership and external stakeholder meetings, agenda development, minute-taking, and action follow-up. Drive continuous improvement in governance processes.
  • Support to Leadership: Provide comprehensive support to the Country Head and CHC Leadership Team, assisting with planning, priority management, and execution of business plans. Facilitate information flow, draft presentations for key events, and manage business reviews, ensuring effective preparation and follow-up.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in strategic planning, project management, and stakeholder engagement within a joint venture context.
  • Strong communication and representation skills, capable of acting as a spokesperson for the organization.
  • Experience in financial reporting, with a keen eye for detail and quality.
  • Ability to lead strategic projects, demonstrating excellent organizational and administrative skills.
  • Demonstrated capability in improving operational governance and providing support to senior leadership.
  • A collaborative mindset, adept at gathering insights and coordinating with internal teams to support decision-making processes.
