Job Description:
The principle objective of the Community Nutrition Worker role is to implement World Vision supported nutrition activities at the Health facility/Nutrition site and community level in line with project plan, and donor polices and agreed timelines in an integrated manner. This will include working together with CHD staffs, other partners staffs, Community Nutrition Volunteers (CNVs) to mobilize communities, taking active part in identifying eligible targeting beneficiaries, planning together with CNVs, establishing and training mother-to-mother support groups, Lead mothers, community structures and local leaders to become change agents in the community to influence health and nutrition practices and and behaviors that promote good health.
